An archvile spawns in front of you, summoning two imps behind you. When you return to the MAIN EXCAVATION cavern, step into the tunnel with your soulcube armed. You'll also run into a few more trites (and a cacodemon) as you enter the main dig junction again. As you exit the storage room, a number of trites will spawn in the sub station 3 room. Open up the locked door in sub station 3 to enter the STATION 3 STORAGE room, where you'll have access to a ton of gear-stock up your weapons, and get ready to head back. On your way back through the MAIN DIG JUNCTION, you'll have to knock off a couple more wraiths and an imp. The tunnel below leads to the next portion of the level, though to make use of that card key you'll have to back track to SUB STATION 3. There's also a generator in the room with a switch-there is no reason to hit it, so don't.

You can grab some bonus items by climbing onto the various scaffoldings in the area (such as rockets, armor, cells). In the center of the main excavation area, you'll find the card key necessary to opening the door back in the sub station 3. There's some armor, health, and cells in the open 'bulge' of the tunnel that you can grab before heading out to the MAIN EXCAVATION cavern. Hang out in the tunnel and shotgun 'em down as they appear before you, ad continue down the tunnel.
